FOREIGN-ECONOMIC ACTIVITY
 Forest resources are the stable source of foreign currency proceeds. 2010 the organizations of the Ministry of Forestry exported forest products and services for USD 105.9 million. Growth rate made 183% comparing to 2009.
Forest products and services were exported to 22 states, including 2.4% to the near abroad and 97.6% to the remote countries. Among the main forest export directions are Poland (61.7% of the total export volume in value terms), Germany (8.2%), Lithuania (7.8%), Latvia (7.3%), Belgium (3.9%), the Netherlands (2.5%), Sweden (2.4%).
