FOREST PEST AND DISEASES PROTECTION
2010 in forests of the Ministry of Forestry there were discovered 3502 accidents of violation of forestry and environmental regulations, the rate increased by a factor of 2.5 comparing to 2009.
There were registered 576 accidents of illegal felling with the total volume about 3.5 thousand m3, including 35.2 m3 of hard leaved species. Comparing to 2009 the number of accidents decreased by 3.7%.
2010 the Forest Guard carried out 6 658 inspections, as a result 3579 reports on infringements of the administrative law were drawn up, including 3100 ordinances for recovery of penalty. In addition 1534 orders were issued.
